Good starting point to consider when putting those ornaments away! Some ornaments may be fragile, or handmade, or made of funky materials, or a mixture of things. While you don't need a special box, you can get away with proper preservation by using good TISSUE. I will put a link in the reply with our tissue options, which are good if you need a supplier. Cascadia Art Museum (CAM) in Edmonds WA got the last of our stocked Permalife Letter Sized packages today. Supply of this paper is non-existent. We still have some paper reserved for our preservation kits, but we have not decided what to do when that paper is gone - there is no really good replacement for that paper. It is 25% cotton, and only 20 lb - and buffered. It's likely we will go to a 24 lb 25% cotton paper and increase the cost of the kit accordingly. Some sources say this Permalife paper size will be available next year. We still have the legal size Permalife, and we have the ROLL of the paper, since we at one time manufactured Signature Scrolls for our customers.
