Fresh look. Same mission. More reasons to believe.

Yesterday, NASA released this image taken June 5, 1966, to commemorate a momentous occasion sixty years ago.
Instead of a routine spacewalk, astronaut Gene Cernan had one of the most physically demanding experiences of his life. His spacesuit was so stiff that even simple movements required enormous effort.
At first glance, the mission looked like a setback. But the lessons learned from that difficult day transformed NASA's training, procedures, and spacesuit design and ultimately helped pave the way for astronauts who would later walk on the Moon.
History is full of moments like this.
What appears to be failure is often preparation.
What looks like a closed door can become the path forward.
Sometimes growth comes not from success, but from discovering what still needs to be learned.
Could this be part of what Scripture means when it says trials produce perseverance?

"It's not about telling yourself it's going to be a great day. It's about coaching yourself through the moment with thoughts that are accurate, truthful, and helpful."
Turns out, the Apostle Paul was already teaching this in Philippians 4.
