8th Degree Black Belt

Shihan Angelo Oliveira has been training in the Martial Arts for the past 25 years. He is a leading authority in Kenpo/Jiu-Jitsu Karate. He presently holds black belts in four different Kenpo systems, the highest being an 8th degree in a system of American Kenpo. He is also ranked in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and certified in Muay Thai and continues to train in these other martial arts including Kenjitsu, Kung Fu, kubudo (Okinawan weaponry) and Kyudo (Japanese archery). His main area of expertise remains self-defense, including defense against knives, guns and clubs. In 1998 he was ranked number one fighter for adult men's senior black belts in the New England Karate Commission. Before studying martial arts, he was a boxer with a 33-3-3 record, including three Golden Gloves fights. Shihan Angelo is respected as a true Master of his art.
