This picture here....reminds me to never underestimate the power of connections. This morning I was gifted this loaf of bread...the significance ... each morning for 4 years a student has shared her toast with me. She is always worried I never have time to eat. She shares with ME... So as I make my last LCLC post and I begin my retirement, I will eat 'toast' with her from home. This is just one of the very emotional cards, letters, flowers, balloons, candles, candies and banners I recieved today. I have truly, truly been blessed with great students, good parents and an amazing staff. It has made my job much easier....so as I pass the torch to the next, I hope someday they feel a loaf of bread is worth so much more.....❤️

Beginning tomorrow we will be back to using the main entrance for LCLC drop off and pick up.

LCLC fun is not just for the students....great job Mrs Karen. Mustard bread tic tac toe.....so creative.....but the real "bread and butter" of what we do here is in the background....Ms Payton thank you for being so caring and making her feel so much better

LCLC Parent, I have attached a parental release form. Every child must have a paper copy, (signed) to participate in our Field Trip tomorrow. We have copies at pick up or you can print and return. (If you would like a copy of the full release, it can be found on urbanair.com)

I am making this post with a heavy heart and so much consideration, but as of June 30, I will be stepping away from my position as the Director of the LCLC program. I have 100% enjoyed the past 19 years. I have had the pleasure of working with over 1400 LC students and their families, even multi generations of families. I have always said that the best compliment is to have a former student come back to work....and I have had so many. Taking care of kids is what I do, but now it is time to take care of me. Trust that I will still be around, because once a TITAN always a TITAN!
