Monday August 24: First day for Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 6th Grade, and 9th Grade

Tuesday, August 25: First day for all grades (K-12)

Thursday, August 27: First day for Preschool

Today, we officially kicked off the new school year by welcoming our amazing staff back at our annual breakfast and welcome-back meeting! We are beyond grateful for this incredible team and can’t wait to see all the great things we’ll accomplish together for our students this year.

This morning, we welcomed our transportation team back for the 2026–2027 school year! We are extremely grateful for these dedicated team members who ensure our students travel safely every single day.

Tonight's school board meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m at the ERC. The public is invited to attend in person or watch via our YouTube channel.

Big shoutout to our incredible neighbors at EquipmentShare! Thanks to their generous donation of backpacks, students in need at Lewis Central are set up for success this school year. We are so grateful for community partners who step up to support our kids and help them start the year off strong.
