Each themed camp starts with a ballet class, followed by a snack, ballet-inspired craft, and studio performance. ✹You can choose to enroll in one, two, or all three Saturdays!đŸ©°

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Our audition for our Solo Program, Jr. Company, & new Performance Ensemble will take place Thursday, May 14th, 2026 at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center from 4:30-6 PM.
This will also serve as one last chance to audition in person for the AMB Summer Intensive!
Our new Performance Ensemble will be open to students 9+ years of age who are in the Academy Division of AMB School. From this audition students will be selected to dance in 2-6 performance pieces that will be rehearsed and performed throughout the school year.

Summer Programming Announcement!
In June we have our Teen/Adult Summer Series: A four-week series of classes for beginning through advanced teen and adult students.
It is 4 weeks long, from June 9 – July 1, 2026, and includes Adult Beginning Tap (ages 18+), Adult Int/Adv Tap (ages 18+), Teen Beginning Ballet (ages 11+), Adult Beginning Ballet (ages 18+), and Adult Int/Adv Ballet (ages 18+)
These are a series, so dancers must register by June 1, and no class cards, drop-ins, makeups, or trial classes will be offered for this series. Register now at AMBallet.org/School

SUMMER INTENSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: We are thrilled to announce our guest teachers for our 2026 AMB Summer Intensive! First is returning guest teacher, Kim Sagami.
Kim Sagami is a Chicago-based ballet teacher, rĂ©pĂ©titeur, and executive director of The Gerald Arpino Foundation. Her teaching style reflects the influences of Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino as well as mentors Maggie Black, Hilary Cartwright (Yoga Narada founder), and Alonzo King (LINES). She danced professionally with The Joffrey Ballet under the directorship of Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino for fourteen years. Ms. Sagami earned an architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2004. She continues to use architectural concepts to inform her students on body alignment and structure. Teaching credits include Joffrey Grainger Academy of Dance, Visceral Dance Center, Roosevelt University(CCPA), Chicago Ballet Arts, Ballet 5:8, Fort Wayne Ballet, Chicago High School of the Arts, Regional Dance America MidStates and Northeast Festival. Film credits include the 1987 film of the Joffrey Ballet’s historic restoration of Nijinsky’s lost Le Sacre du Printemps and the film of BILLBOARDS, a full-length rock ballet with music by Prince. Musical Theater credits include the national US touring company of The Phantom of the Opera. Ms. Sagami’s teaching certifications include the ABT National Training Curriculum, Zena Rommett Floor Barreℱ and Yoga Narada founded by Hilary Cartwright. Ms. Sagami also serves as rĂ©pĂ©titeur for the Edward Stierle Family Trust.
We are so excited to have Ms. Sagami back with us this summer!
