Jubilate Deo Lutheran Music Workshop Thursday, August 13, 2026 - Videos

44 students attended the first Jubilate Deo Lutheran Music Workshop at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The day started with a Matins Service at 8:30am followed by a Piano Workshop lead by Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo for grades 9-12, and a Choral Workshop lead by Dr. Kurt VonKampen for grades 2-8. The morning session completed with the Basics of Piano Design by Great Plains Piano, for all grades in the Church Sanctuary.

After a taco bar lunch prepared by the St. Paul's Hospitality Team, the afternoon session began. The grades were once again split with the Piano Workshop lead by Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo for grades 2-8, and a Choral Workshop lead by Dr. Kurt VonKampen for grades 9-12. The afternoon session completed with the Basics of Organ Design by Mr. Ryan Luckey, Bedient Pipe Organ Company, for all grades in the Church Sanctuary.

The Jubilate Deo Lutheran Music Workshop completed with a Student Talent Showcase where the students showcased their talents in piano, organ, and choral.

Following the Lutheran Music Workshop, St. Paul's Music Conservatory along with David's Harp - A Center for Musical Development, held an open house. Students and parents had a chance to purchase David's Harp materials and the opportunity to see St. Paul's Music Conservatory studios. Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo signed music instructional books for the students.

Following the Open House, the St. Paul's Hospitality Team served a wonderful spaghetti dinner.

The day concluded with a Piano Recital by Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo in the Church Sanctuary.
