📚🐾 One School, One Book: Fenway and Hattie! 🐾📚

Roosevelt families, get ready for a school-wide reading adventure! From November 2–30, our Preschool–5th Grade students and families will read Fenway and Hattie by Victoria J. Coe together!

Each week, we’ll read a few chapters at home, answer fun trivia questions at school on Friday mornings, and enter for a chance to win an exciting family prize package! The best part? Every family gets to keep their book!

We can’t wait to bring our Roosevelt community together through reading. Grab your book, snuggle up, and let the adventure begin!

Stronger Together. One School, One Book! 🐾📖

Character shines through in the way we work hard, treat others, and show kindness every day!

We are so proud to celebrate Liam, Bellamy, and Ayden! They earned Positive Referrals for being hard workers, being good friends, and being considerate of others’ feelings. These students show us that being a great Jr. Jacket means looking out for others and making sure the people around us feel valued and cared for.

Thank you for helping make Roosevelt a kinder, more positive place for everyone! 💙💛🐝

🏗️🌎 Mrs. Kafka’s class has been learning all about Earthquake Engineering! Students explored the problems earthquakes can cause for buildings and then put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building their own earthquake-proof structures using toothpicks and marshmallows. 🏠💡

We love seeing our Jr. Jackets learn, create, test, and problem-solve! 🐝

Great character doesn’t always make a big entrance—it shows up in the little choices we make every day. And our staff noticed! 👀

We are so proud to celebrate Nathaly, Maverick, Kevin, and Riley! They earned Positive Referrals after staff members saw them making great choices, showing kindness, and going above and beyond.

Being a Jr. Jacket is about more than what you accomplish—it’s about the person you choose to be along the way. Thank you for helping make Roosevelt a better place through your actions! 🐝💙💛
