Congrats to these 8th graders who were selected to perform in the All-Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band!
They spent the morning rehearsing with the top 8th graders from around the state and put on a great concert this afternoon!

Did I mention that in addition to our student musicians you can see this fabulous LC alum and LC elementary teacher take the stage tonight?

Jazz combo, jazz 2, jazz1, Concert Band, Symphonic Band all performing along with a special senior recognition.

The 8th grade band and HS jazz bands competed at the Music in the Parks festival in Kansas City over the weekend. We had some great performances that morning and spent the afternoon at Worlds of Fun!

Last week, we hosted the Lewis Central Concert Band Festival. Over two days, we had 19 bands come in to perform and receive a clinic from our clinicians: Robert Meunier and Courtney Ridge. Some great teaching is happening in Southwest Iowa!
