Coach Kati Hawkins is coordinating volunteers for the VCA/VCHS hosted cross country race on October 3rd at the Camp Verde Sports Complex and would appreciate any help you can provide.

If you are interested in volunteering. We will need people to direct teams and traffic, monitor the course to help keep runners on the right path, and help set the course up, and/or break down the course.

💛 In Memory of Dolly Parton 💛

Today, we remember the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton—not only for the music, joy, and laughter she shared with the world, but for the extraordinary difference she made in the lives of children.

In 1995, Dolly founded Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, inspired by her father, who was unable to read or write. What began as a program for children in her hometown grew into a worldwide effort, placing free books directly into the hands and homes of millions of young children and helping families develop a love of reading from the very beginning.

As educators, we know the incredible gift that literacy gives a child. Dolly understood that too—and she used her success and influence to make sure children everywhere had the opportunity to dream, imagine, learn, and grow.

Her songs will continue to be sung, but perhaps one of her greatest legacies will be found on bookshelves and in the hands of little readers for generations to come. 📚❤️

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that when we invest in children, we invest in the future.

A life well lived. A legacy that will keep turning pages. 📖✨
