Verde River Day

Celebrating the 36th Annual Verde River Day at DeadHorse Ranch State Park on September 27, 2025 9a-3p Poles, bait and tackle are provided for all ages.

Some of the day's events include nature-based exhibits, organized canoe and kayak rides, sand castle building and a climbing wall. Visitors may also experience nature's history through guided nature walks. There will be a wide range of entertainment including local musicians throughout the day. Guests of all ages are welcome to fish in the lagoon that is loaded with hundreds of pounds of catfish. No fishing license is needed. Learn more at http://verderiverdays.com.
