💛 La. Pediatric Cancer Awareness 💛

⭐️ Yesterday our students and staff painted CES gold and yellow by wearing shirts in the above stated colors to support pediatric cancer awareness.

Our hope is to live in a cancer free world one day so every child can have a chance at living a long and fulfilling life.

🧸 Picnic with a Teddy Bear🧸

✨ Yesterday our youngest Wildcats enjoyed a picnic with a teddy bear of their choice.

This was a sweet social interaction for our students and a reminder that even though the world around us is constantly evolving, a child can still find comfort and joy within a teddy bear.

🥳 Check out the students in Mrs. Nicki's kindergarten class. They are using their fine motor skills by holding their writing utensils with a tripod-pincer grip and drawing cups. They also shaped the cups with modeling clay in their lesson.

💙 Teacher of the Month 💙

✨ Congratulations to our August teacher of the month, Ms. Tenley Bordelon.

Ms. Tenley is the epitome of what it means to be dedicated to your profession. She has spent countless hours at CES preparing our hallways and classrooms for our students while on summer break.

Ms. Tenley teaches third grade math and science and she is such a dedicated teacher. She believes students need structure and goals that are both attainable and rewarding.

Her coworkers said she is confident, diligent and willing to do whatever she can for our Wildcats to be successful.

Congratulations Ms. Tenley Bordelon, you’re blazing the trail for all of the young educators on the rise!💙
