Hey ya’ll, if you are interested in a virtual hangout via zoom reply to this post with a time you’d like to meet! We need to discuss whether or not we’d like to meet in an official capacity while remote, but it would be really nice to see all of your faces!
Let me know and I will set something up!

Happy new year everyone and a new semester! No classes today in honor of MLK day. We won’t be meeting this week to allow time to adjust to your course schedule. Our first meet will be next week and we’ll meet every Thursday 3pm-6pm in SSB 1206, join us any time! We’ll see you there!
I know it's a bit late notice, but I'm here with some very exciting news! Tomorrow's meeting (Tues. 13th) is going to be our first official Expression Exchange! Everyone is invited to bring in their unwanted, lightly used clothing and/or accessories in for a group wide swip-swap. Your current wardrobe not really up to speed? Whether you bring items in or not, the Expression Exchange is a chance to pick up some clothing better suited to your expression.
Wanted items, lightly or never used:
-Clothing of any size
-Belts or shoes
-Perfumes, soaps and the like
Due to health concerns, please do not bring any makeup that has been previously used.
All remaining items will be donated to a charity (we will discuss which in-meeting, as our initial choice is not currently accepting clothing donations)
We will also be running a free showing of Love, Simon so please feel free to bring snacks, drinks and/or blankets if you just want to hang out!
Our new room is ADM 2109, meeting from 4-7pm
Hope to see you there!
Remember to go out and vote!

SCC will be offering a new diversity course taught by Professor Mitch Harden in the Spring: PSY 235. S*x, Gender, and S*xual Orientation will be among the topics of the course and will look into learning more about the mechanisms of oppression and current thoughts about liberation. Check it out!
Have a spoopy Halloween everybody!
