🌟 Supporting Reading at Home: Top Tips for Grades K-1 🌟

Parents, you play a crucial role in your child's reading development! Here are five simple yet highly effective ways to support phonics at home:

πŸ“š Read Aloud Daily: Enjoy 15-20 minutes of reading aloud each day with books that feature repetitive and rhyming text.
πŸ”€ Practice Blending: Help your child blend sounds together to form simple words like "cat."
🎲 Sound Matching Games: Make learning fun with games like "I Spy" to match sounds with letters.
πŸ”  Letter-Sound Correspondence: Use flashcards or magnetic letters to teach and practice the sounds of each letter.
