❤️ Our Scholastic Bookfair wrapped up this week, and we want to send a HUGE thank‑you to every volunteer, shopper, teacher, and student who helped make it a success. Your time, energy, and support truly matter — and because of you, we’re able to save our Bookfair funds toward purchasing outdoor tables! This is a long‑term goal we’re excited to work toward, and every purchase helps us get closer.
We also want to address something difficult but important. Throughout the fair, we experienced theft and damage to merchandise — not just items being taken, but students removing parts of products, making them unsellable. This isn’t only theft; it’s destruction of property, and it directly impacts our ability to raise funds for the school. Every damaged item is money lost that could have gone toward resources our students benefit from.
We share this not to shame, but to be transparent. Our volunteers work hard, our school community shows up big, and we want every dollar raised to go right back to our kids. Thank you to everyone who supported the fair with kindness, honesty, and enthusiasm. We are proud of this community and grateful for those who help us make these events possible.
Together, we’ll keep building something great for our students. 📚
