What a fun day creating nature's epoxy. Clay pitchpots heated on the woodstove and mixed with charcoal wound on a dried pointy stick. Then we used a candle flame to light the tip to drip the glue on the knife handle.
I will make a larger knife as an example later but this is great to do to teach with limited time.

Deer hide and Elk hide fleshed out and racked. Thanks for your help Wendi. Lots of drums in the future. That elk hide was the biggest yet had to wrap the neck around to fit. Gonna get back to doing a couple plantwalks know that Al is all healed, I will have more time.
I have permission from 3 creeks ranch to do some foraging.
