Some people leave behind songs.
Some leave behind stories.
And some leave the world noticeably kinder than they found it. 🩵
Dolly Parton gave us all three.
She showed that you could be strong without becoming hard, successful without forgetting where you came from, glamorous without taking yourself too seriously, and generous without needing applause for it.
Her music will live on, of course. But so will the books placed into children’s hands, the opportunities she created, the laughter she gave us, and the countless people she reminded to believe a little bigger.
That kind of life creates ripples far beyond one lifetime.
