The Horticulture Club began their first official project: a California friendly pollinator garden!! The existing garden was in rough shape, so club members worked together to remove existing plants and debris. Follow along as we track our progress of w**d suppression, plant selection, irrigation techniques, and more!!

Can’t make it to our plant sale in the morning? No worries!! OCC’s annual Science Night is happening that very evening!! It is going to be an eventful day for the department and we would love your support.

Today, the students of the Introduction to Tree Care class put their knowledge to the test. Together, they used proper pruning techniques to freshen up existing trees and even planted some new ones around campus!!

Just in time for Día de los Mu***os! Since the beginning of the semester, the students of the Greenhouse and Nursery Science class have been growing marigolds in preparation for the sale. Come support the students, club members, and department!
