Behind the Artist: Melina 🤍

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Melina found her voice early—harmonizing with the radio and letting songs shape her sound. Rooted in the love of a big, close-knit family, her music carries warmth, emotion, and real connection.

Now studying literary journalism at UC Irvine, Melina brings a storyteller’s touch to her songwriting, blending soul piano ballads, jazz influences, and timeless melodies. The result is music that’s vulnerable, sincere, and deeply human ✨

At just 19, LEAKE is carving her own lane—sleek pop songwriting layered with subtle R&B influence. Built on strong melodies, modern production, and a big, expressive vocal, her sound balances control with emotion and intention with feel.

Rooted in pop but shaped by R&B phrasing, tone, and rhythm, LEAKE creates records that feel smooth, grounded, and honest—never losing mainstream appeal. Her voice does the heavy lifting: full, dynamic, confident, and led by emotion over excess.
