✨ (almost) 20 years ago I was sitting on the home computer, mtv on in my room, and I hear Grace Kelly by
I jumped up and ran over to the tv and was instantly dancing to the beat. I found Mika’s album and was obsessed. ✨
16 years old, I went to my first Mika concert in LA and continued attending every concert he had (almost-but there would be TW and more typing and I’m tired).
But this is my first time, since COVID, seeing Mika perform in person, not newly postpartum.
I flew down to SF for 24 hours just to see him perform the songs I grew up dancing to. It was so much fun and so needed. 💃
Thank you for being my date and holding all my merch as I danced and sang my heart out ♥️
Seeing Mika in the city I lived in for 10 years, becoming an adult, meeting my partner, choosing my career and finding my passions was phenomenal. It just felt amazing to watch one of my favorite artists perform in one of my favorite cities.

Just reading and learning.
I have so many opinions about the public school system. But as a former public school teacher, I truly do believe in the system.
But it takes work from every adult. Not just the teacher or administrator and not just the parents. Right now, public school feels like a group project everyone is hoping someone else will take lead on.
But I still believe in our school system. And I will do everything I can, to support my community ♥️

I brought my extended family with us last week and my sister in law told me I need to get a job advertising for Chuck E. Cheese because I’m so obsessed 😂 ! But parttime because I’m a mom of 4..
Also, super inclusive.
And it only took me a long weekend to edit it and post it 😅
My voice was kind of lost when I recorded this 🫠 but it had to be said 😅 turn up the volume 🔊 queen!
