Children are the same - and their bodies need movement more frequently. As adults we have learned to cope by swaying in our chair, tapping our feet, or moving our bodies in ways that aren't distracting for others - because we need that sensory release.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Children are the same! Children’s brains haven’t developed that impulse control yet. Which is all the more reason to let them move!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Children moving through play develop motor skills (fine and large), hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving. All of these skills are essential for future learning, academic and otherwise.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
