Huntington Beach HS CTE Sustainable Agriculture Biology students traveled to Eisenhower Park and rolled up their sleeves to test water quality and dive into nature in action. They measured oxygen levels, checked for pollutants and learned how water chemistry impacts aquatic life. To top it off, they learned how to fly fish and even created fishing lures. The day wrapped up with the ultimate highlight-- releasing trout into their natural habitat!

Mrs. Leha Vo-Swick () took WHS Culinary students to a 4-day CA FCCLA Leadership Conference. Students attended culinary competitions and workshops. Her student EJ placed 3rd for Culinary Display. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Mrs. McCance's Virtual Enterprise Social Innovation Team for winning 1st place in the Intuit competition. Each of the five members was awarded a $5000 scholarship and an iPad. In addition the team earned $5000 to continue the work on their innovative idea.

On Wednesday, March 30th, the Fountain Valley HS Fashion and Interior Design pathways taught by Mrs. DaCosta and Mrs. Hernandez had a field trip to FIDM to learn about past, present and future trends in the industry.
