Teacher Feature: Meet Brooke!
Brooke is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. She grew up completely immersed in the arts - doing everything from gymnastics and dance to singing in every choir she could find. Over the years, that passion has led her to dive deep into show choir, ensemble singing, musical theater, and classical music.
She has been teaching as a high school show choir choreographer since 2022, a journey that completely solidified her dream to teach. The pure joy that comes from creating and expressing oneself is what drives her, and her ultimate goal is to inspire her students just as much as they inspire her every single day. She believes that all students deserve to have an outlet to be creative within a positive, supportive, and growing environment to reach whatever musical or life goals they desire.
Brooke loves so many genres of music, having her personal playlist consist of all things musical theater, indie rock/pop, electronic dance music, R&B, soul, disco, etc. Outside of music, she loves having board game nights with her friends, beach days, hanging out with her puppy, and having dance parties while cooking dinner with her roommates!
