We’re proud to have supported the launch party for Held & Rooted, a federally recognized nonprofit building the first infrastructure layer for mothers raising Black children in the AI era.

Held & Rooted is creating ethical, community-based technology centered around safety, trusted connection, and long-term maternal wellbeing, both online and in real life.

Arts & Learning CEO Debora Wondercheck was proud to be a sponsor of this meaningful event and to support a mission focused on building stronger, safer, and more connected communities for mothers and their children.

Thank you to Held & Rooted for bringing this important conversation and vision to life. 💜

🎭✨ A little behind-the-scenes magic from Bursch Elementary in Compton!

Our young performers are hard at work rehearsing for Alice in Wonderland, and this time, we’re letting their voices speak for themselves. 🎶🐰

These raw rehearsal vocals capture the talent, confidence, and creativity these students are building every step of the way. We can’t wait to see all their hard work come together on stage!

Keep singing, keep creating, and keep believing in your magic. 💫

We’re proud to see Arts & Learning Conservatory featured in an article highlighting our mission to open doors to creative careers for Black youth and students from historically underserved communities. 🎭✨

At ALC, arts education goes far beyond the stage. Through acting, musical theatre, dance, technical theatre, apprenticeships, and our Behind the Scenes Technical Theater Program, students gain hands-on experience in lighting, sound, stage management, production, leadership, collaboration, and so much more.

Under the leadership of our Founder & CEO, Debora Wondercheck, ALC has spent nearly three decades creating opportunities for young people throughout Southern California to build confidence, discover their talents, and see a future for themselves in theatre, film, television, and the creative industries.

Whether they’re performing under the spotlight or helping bring a production to life behind the scenes, we want every student to know that there is a place for them in the arts. ❤️

The next generation of creative professionals is already here — and we’re honored to help open the door. 🎬🎶🎭
