The Ohio Su***de Prevention Foundation is expanding its efforts with a new two-year initiative focused on reducing su***de among adult men in Ohio.
Men continue to experience disproportionately high rates of su***de, making up more than 80% of su***de deaths in the state. This initiative, funded by the Ohio Department of Health, will expand evidence-based programs, including Man Therapy Ohio, Life Side Ohio, QPR trainings for healthcare providers, and community-driven strategies in 10 priority counties.
Through collaboration, awareness, and actionable tools, OSPF is working to reduce stigma and connect men with the resources and support they need.

Did you know that in Ohio, men age 75 and older have the highest su***de rate of any group? As people age, they often face significant losses, including independence, loved ones, health, and financial stability. These experiences can lead to isolation, grief, and hopelessness.
💬 Ask the hard questions. Stay connected. Share resources. Together, we can support older adults and help prevent su***de.
