Juneteenth Storytime with Perrot Memorial Library | Greenwich Historical Society 06/10/2026

Join us for CT Open House Day and enjoy a day of history, creativity, and family fun—completely free! In partnership with , we're celebrating Juneteenth with a special storytime featuring author Kim Taylor and her acclaimed children's book A Flag for Juneteenth. Guests will also have the opportunity to view her beautiful Juneteenth story quilt and create their own flag-inspired craft.

Throughout the day, families can:
✨ Explore our exhibition Fashioning America: 250 Years of Greenwich Style
🏡 Tour the historic Bush-Holley House
📚 Stroll through the A Flag for Juneteenth StoryWalk in our gardens
🍪 Enjoy sweet treats and family-friendly activities

Join us for a late night Thursday at Toby's Tavern featuring the Florian Shantz Jazz Combo as they bring the lively spirit of the 1920s and 1930s to Greenwich Historical Society. Enjoy classic jazz, gather with friends, and soak up a beautiful summer evening under the open sky. 🌿🧺 Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and favorite snacks for a night of music, history, and community.
