Ready to start a career in healthcare?

Harrison County Lifelong Learning is partnering with Vincennes University to offer Certified Clinical Medical Assistant training right here in Harrison County.

Students will learn the clinical and administrative skills needed to work in a medical office, clinic, or other healthcare setting. Training includes patient preparation, vital signs, medical histories, basic clinical procedures, medical terminology, and front-office responsibilities.

Classes begin September 14 and meet Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings 6:00-9:30 PM. There will be 4 additional Wednesday classes in the month of November and first week of December.

Free tuition is available for qualifying Indiana residents. Seats are limited, so call Harrison County Lifelong Learning at 812.738.7736 or email [email protected] to learn more and begin the enrollment process.

Thanks to a generous grant from Duke Energy, people who live and/or work in Crawford County can attend the course for free, and those who do not may be eligible for alternative funding sources.
