This is a talented group of young women who bring skill, drive, determination, a sense of fun, and a real passion for the game. They’re committed to getting better, supporting each other, and competing every time they take the field.

🩷 Why Charity Pink?

Naturally, once we had a Power Purple wall at The Softball Studio, we decided another wall needed to be Charity Pink.

Pink is part of the identity of The Softball Studio because this place was built specifically for female softball athletes. But we call this color Charity Pink for a reason.

Softball gives our athletes an opportunity to compete, develop and challenge themselves. It also gives them opportunities to use the game they love to support something bigger than the game itself.

Throughout the year, our Comets Fastpitch athletes compete in events where charitable fundraising and community impact are at the heart of the tournament. Events like Fastpitch Cares, Play for a Cure and Foster Love give our athletes a chance to step onto the field knowing that what happens that weekend has meaning beyond softball.

We want our athletes to compete hard. We want them to want the ball, chase big goals and learn how to perform when the game matters. But we also want them to understand that softball can be a platform for helping other people.

Those ideas belong together.

Charity Pink represents compassion, generosity and using the opportunities we're given to make a difference for someone else.

Some of the most meaningful weekends we spend on a softball field won't be remembered only for the final score.

That's Charity Pink.

Compete with purpose. Care about something bigger. Use the game to make a difference.

What a day at The Softball Studio!

We got a lot done today, and then finished it off with a great Comets Fastpitch 10U and 12U tryout. It was great seeing another group of young athletes come through the doors, work hard, compete, and get a chance to experience our new home.

A huge thank you to everyone who chipped in today and helped us keep getting The Softball Studio ready. Every day it feels a little more like the place we imagined when we started this project.

By the end of the night, though, I think everyone was pretty tired.

Apparently Honey was the first one to admit it. 😂

And who knew a pitching rubber made such a great pillow? 🐶🥎

💜 Why Power Purple?

Another wall is getting some color at The Softball Studio — and like every color in our palette, this one was picked with intention.

We call it Power Purple.

Purple has long been associated with strength, ambition, confidence and independence. It also comes from bringing together red and blue — the energy and intensity of one with the stability and confidence of the other.

And that combination is exactly why purple earned a place in The Softball Studio.

The Softball Studio was created specifically for female softball athletes. Powered by Comets Fastpitch, the "Studio" is a place of their own where they can train, get stronger, learn, compete, build confidence and become more independent as athletes.

And that's really where the power comes from.

Not just throwing harder, hitting the ball farther or getting stronger. It's understanding your body, learning how to train with purpose, seeing your progress and gaining the confidence that comes from knowing you've put in the work.

Every color you'll see around The Softball Studio has a reason for being here. Today, we're putting a little more Power Purple on the walls. 💜

There is still plenty of painting, building and unpacking happening around here, but every day this place looks a little more like the home for softball athletes we imagined.

🥎 Another big step forward at The Softball Studio.

A few days ago, this was a 3,700-square-foot building with a concrete floor and a whole lot of possibilities.

Today, it looks a little different.

Thanks to some incredibly generous sponsors and an awesome group of volunteers, we installed more than 110 heavy-duty rubber mats and completely covered our training floor.

It may not seem like the most exciting part of building a softball development center, but for us, this is a pretty big deal. We can finally start seeing the vision come together.

The Softball Studio is being built to be a home for softball athletes — a year-round place designed specifically for girls to train, develop and become better athletes.

Hitting. Pitching. Throwing. Strength and movement. Arm care. Mental performance. Fueling and recovery. And plenty more that we haven’t even shown you yet.

There is still a LOT to do. Nets are coming. Training areas are taking shape. Equipment is arriving. And this place is going to look a whole lot different very soon.

But tonight, we’re pretty excited about 110+ pieces of rubber flooring. 😂🥎
