Apples for days! Of anyone wants to come by my house to pick apples let me know! They are great for apple pie, apple sauce, crisp, cobbler, cider, etc! Let me know. Bring a bag and pick as many as you want!

As I sit amid stacks and piles of preschool supplies and equipment, I pause to reflect on the journey Small Wonders has been. I will remember each laugh, cry, giggle, tantrum, and smiling face. Each proud "Teacher look!" moment. I will remember all the lives I strove to nurture and teach and all the hearts that touched mine and taught me. I will hold dear the memories of all the families who trusted me with their precious children, families that I have been privileged to be able to support on their own journeys. I will treasure the friendships with the wonderful teachers who I worked with and call friends.
It is a bittersweet feeling to be standing in that space between what is behind and what is ahead. I am excited to see what the next adventure holds. As I think about all the uncertainty I am reminded of one of our daily mantras at Small Wonders, "We can do hard things!" Such an important thing to remind ourselves from time to time!
As this adventure comes to an end, I laugh through tears as I am reminded of a lyric from one of my favorite songs as a teenager, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." (Closing Time, Semisonic, 1998)

Due to changes in health and safety regulations surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have made the decision to close Small Wonders Preschool. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with all the wonderful families and children over the years. Stay healthy and safe!
