I lived in Alaska for my formative years, worked in aviation and communications all over the state. Exploration and support of geologic resources. Saw the

hand of God working in my life and nature, seeing unexplainable formations and speaking to me about his mercy and provision. I decided to search the claims of Christ and the Bible as a whole, mindful of where evolution sits. I found they were opposed, so I revisited evolution and found that I had been deceived. So a journey began for truth, I arrived at the understanding that the physical universe and life is not explained by naturalistic means, hence the subject matter of this project, Genesis Alive! A story of the pilots flying the Alaskan Arctic

This story records the life of a young pilot (Mark Rose) flying airplanes and helicopters in Alaska’s Frontier Arctic. You’ll experience the seat front thrills and spills of bush planes and helicopters, flying in the most extreme conditions on Earth, often dealing with minus 60 temperatures and horrific storms. Experience being airborne among the magnificent mountains, glaciers and river’s only as Alaska has to offer. Once you’ve read this volume you’ll not be satisfied until you visit Alaska yourself, flying with him as co-pilot in words and sketches. Includes true-life experience’s of accidents, comradeship, humor, heartbreaks and thrills of a Pilot/Crew Chief operating in Frontier Alaska, gone forever when dismantled into parks and native lands. Opens with an interesting early history and overview of the 49th State, leading to the eventual use and development of a new tool of transport – the single engine airplane, but not without extracting a terrible price. Find out how aviation became a key tool in bringing commerce and development to the territory, leading to Statehood in 1959. Experience what it was like to grow up there as a teenager, dodge the bears, hunt the massive Caribou herds and land on dirt postage stamps, absorbing the Greatness of the country. The story concludes with a crisis encounter, forever changing the authors life. Every young boy, pilot and male will not be able to put this one down, and more importantly be compelled to grapple with it’s final truth. Pilots will especially benefit from the safety tips and experiences related, not to mention be inspired to embrace our Great God. Illustrated with sketches.
