In the College of Engineering - Oregon State University, assistant bioengineering professor, Morgan Giers, is helping transform spine care through data-driven, patient-centered solutions. Her research uses artificial intelligence and precision health approaches to improve surgical decision-making, reduce complications and personalize treatment for patients.

By bringing together expertise from research, health care and industry, Giers is helping create more effective spine care that improves outcomes for patients in Oregon and around the world.

A career in semiconductors doesn't start with a job offer. It starts with opportunity.

For Owen Pyle, that opportunity came through hands-on experiences at , including a semiconductor camp hosted by Analog Devices, Inc. and Intel. By connecting students with industry leaders and real-world challenges, OSU helps turn classroom learning into careers.

Those opportunities are expanding through the National Science Foundation (NSF) FAST Engine, an OSU-led coalition of nearly 100 partners working to grow talent, drive innovation and strengthen Oregon's semiconductor future.

From a 1,500-square-foot gallery at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) exploring climate change to concert series at The Tower Theatre, these partnerships are creating fresh ways to connect and build knowledge through the humanities.
