Everyone of these people started from scratch. No one is born knowing martial arts, it's learned. Our members are full time teachers, parents starting in their 40's, college kids learning a new skill, people who want to learn to defend themselves.

What makes them different than you? They show up and face the discomfort of trying something new, pushing past their comfort zone, and gaining so much confidence and skill in the process.

Congratulations Richard on the Mantis of the moment award! We appreciate your willingness to help out new members of the gym, whether it's volunteering to be their training partner, getting people signed up on the iPad, or sweeping the floors before class. On top of all that you do for our community, you probably attend more classes per week than anybody. Thanks for being you!

Our first women's and q***r class was a big success! We had 17 people attend and put in some work going over butterfly guard and cross-side techniques. The next date is Friday June 19th. This class is free to members and $10 to non-members.

Competition class Sundays at 11:00! This class focuses on creating a competition game plan, positional sparring and fast paced games. It’s a safe and controlled environment to push endurance and get ready for competing! This class is separate from our regular schedule and is open to non gym members. Instructor approval required.
