Sigma Alpha at Oregon State Like our page for updates about Sigma Alpha Xi Chapter at Oregon State University! Today, more than 9,900 members have been initiated into Sigma Alpha Sorority.

Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship among its members. The sorority was founded in 1978 at the Ohio State University by five women who wanted an alternative to the social Greek sorority system. Since that time, Sigma Alpha has become a national organization consisting of more than 80 chapters, comprised of undergraduate

and alumni members. We're growing steadily as others in agriculture learn about us. The Xi Chapter of Sigma Alpha at Oregon State University was founded in 1991. We are an unhoused sorority. Membership in Sigma Alpha goes beyond belonging to a professional organization. The ladies of Sigma Alpha offer tremendous support to one another and believe in the commitment they have made to their sisters. Colors: Maize & Emerald
