Park Studio Senior Recital Spotlight - Aliyah Stratton

Aliyah Stratton started singing with Beverly just in the last 2 years to prepare for doing the musicals at CHS. She always loves anything performance related and has been dancing for 14 years + performing in the musicals for the last 3. Singing has become more and more of a passion of her's and she is excited to keep growing her skills in the future. Aliyah plans on attending Pomona College in the fall to major in Biology and Dance.

Park Studio Senior Recital Spotlight - Ziva Grossman-Naples

Ziva Grossman-Naples will be graduating from Corvallis High School. She has been studying voice with Beverly for 7 years! She enjoys dancing, writing songs and anything beach related! Her musical theater experience includes numerous productions with Corvallis High School. She has participated in chapter and NW Region competitions with the National Association of Teachers of Singing in both Musical Theatre and Commercial Music. She recently won 3rd place in the Linn Benton Teen Idol competition! Next year, she plans to attend University of Oregon to major in Dance and minor in journalism and music.

Park Studio Senior Recital Spotlight - Meet Asher Barlow

After Asher Barlow saw his sister doing theater, he naturally had to copy her. His first performance was in Cats at CSD Theaters, and he has been performing ever since. He’s been in 13 shows, and some of his favorites roles include Ren in Footloose and a dancer in Newsies. He has now been taking lessons with Beverly for a year and half. This fall, he will be attending BYU in Utah and will be studying business and dance! Asher is constantly dancing and singing, and he’s excited to continue performing in the future!

I am so excited to share that three of my students made it to the National Semi-Finals round of the National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions! Congratulations Kaiden, Evelyn and Theo. Work hard Be humble. Auditions are July 3rd.

We should all be out trying new things when we are 85 years old! It was so much fun to watch and support my student, Alan, tonight at open mic night at the Greenhouse.

And, it was so heartwarming to see the student who has their lesson before and the student who has their lesson after him come and support him, as well.

What a great community we live in!

Never a dull moment. OSU SING! With my frat gentlemen last night and High School Solo/Ensemble State finals in Portland. I'm so proud of the work Andrew and Cleo have done this year. Andrew is only a freshman! We really appreciate the support of Joy Wu Ueng.
