The Arc is starting an inclusive bowling league this fall!

Each team will have 4 bowlers, including people who experience disabilities and people who don't. This league is for adults (ages 18+), and bowlers can join as a team or be assigned to one.

The first team to sign up will get to pick their team T-shirt color!

DETAILS:
When: September 23rd-November 11th, 2026. Every Wednesday from 6-8pm
Where: Highland Bowl, 2123 NW 9th St, Corvallis, OR 97330
Cost: $125/bowler. Scholarships are available, and you can participate as part of your DSA hours through Medicaid.

Due to unhealthy air quality and high temperatures, we are canceling this Friday morning's Outdoor Tai Chi and Walk 'n Roll activities.

Although the forecast suggests conditions may improve later Friday, wildfire smoke and heat are expected to continue creating unhealthy conditions during the morning hours. To help keep everyone safe, we've decided to cancel these outdoor programs.

Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the health and well-being of our
participants, families, and staff. Please stay cool, limit outdoor activity if you can, and we'll look forward to seeing everyone next week!

📅 TAAP is returning to First United Methodist Church in August!

Thank you to everyone for your flexibility over the past several weeks while we temporarily relocated programming. We're excited to welcome participants back to First United Methodist Church for most classes beginning in August!

A few activities will continue at their current locations:
🏢 Monday Coffee, Tea, You & Me - Gather at Benton Plaza
🎲 Games & Legos - Community Room at The Plaza (425 SW Madison)
🎬 Game & Movie Nights - Good Samaritan Episcopal Church
🌳 Tai Chi & Walk n' Roll - Crystal Lake Park

You'll also notice a new schedule designed to make participation even easier. Beginning in August, we'll have only one class at each location at a time, creating a calmer environment and allowing staff to better support everyone.

🎨 Art Focus has new class times!
Wednesday: 10:00am & 11:00 a.m.
Thursday: 2:00pm & 3:00 p.m.
Participants may attend one hour or both.
If you'd like to participate in Art Focus, please contact Abby Guzman to let us know
which class time you'd like to attend.
