Check out the recorded webinar of our first Schild Nicholson Neurodiversity Lecture Series! This talk was given by Dr. Susan Stoner, titled "The Enduring Impact of Prenatal Alcohol Exposure: Research Examining Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders at Midlife."

The lecture was held on May 29th, 2026 at the Hallie Ford Center and experienced a tremendous turnout including OSU faculty, students, and community members.

Join us on Zoom for our Virtual Evaluation Office Hour THIS FRIDAY, May 15th, from 1-2pm for a free, one-hour session with university evaluation experts. Participants can ask questions, discuss evaluation challenges, and get guidance on tools and strategies to support their work. They will meet in small, topic-based groups to encourage collaboration and shared learning. Oregon State University faculty will lead breakout rooms on Social Policy, Public Health, PreK–12 Education & Programming, and STEM.

Save the date! The Schild Nicholson Neurodiversity Lecture Series launches with its inaugural lecture on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 12-3:30pm. Hosted by the Hallie E. Ford Center in the College of Health at Oregon State University, this endowed series brings leading interdisciplinary scholars to campus. Lectures explore neurodiversity, brain and cognitive development, and fetal alcohol spectrum conditions.

This year’s lecture features Dr. Susan Stoner, Research Associate Professor at the University of Washington, with an accompanying practitioner workshop led by the FASCETS Center for Neurodiversity with a focus on the FASCETS Neurobehavioral approach. RSVP at the link below!
