Growth doesn’t just happen—it is something we choose to cultivate.

At Capital District Leadership Camp, members came together around the theme Cultivate Growth, spending time building relationships, challenging themselves, strengthening their leadership skills and discovering what can happen when they are willing to step outside their comfort zones.

Just like a crop needs the right environment to thrive, leaders need opportunities to learn, people who encourage them, challenges that stretch them and experiences that help them discover what they are capable of.

From teamwork and leadership activities to conversations, laughter and time around the campfire, Capital District members invested in themselves and one another—and planted seeds that will continue growing long after camp.

Thank you to the Capital District officers, advisors, members and everyone who helped make this camp possible. We’re excited to see how these members continue to cultivate growth in themselves, their chapters and their communities. 💙💛

What happens when you bring together FFA members from across Central Oregon and give them opportunities to connect, challenge themselves and discover the kind of leader they can be? Leadership lights up.

With the theme Lighting Up Leadership, Central Oregon District Leadership Camp gave members the chance to learn by doing—working together, building relationships, stepping outside their comfort zones and recognizing the impact they can have on the people around them.

Sometimes leadership looks like standing in front of a group. Other times, it is encouraging someone beside you, listening to a new perspective, trying something even when you aren't sure you can do it, or simply making sure someone else knows they belong.

And sometimes, it starts with a reminder as simple as the one members shared at camp: make it known that people are important to you.

Thank you to the Central Oregon District officers, advisors and members who helped create a camp filled with learning, laughter, connection and plenty of moments that reminded us why leadership matters. Keep taking that light back to your chapters, schools and communities. 💙💛

Great leadership isn’t built alone.
At Mt. Hood District Leadership Camp, members spent time discovering what can happen when we choose to Build Better Together—bringing different strengths, ideas, experiences and personalities together toward a common purpose.
Throughout camp, members worked alongside one another, made new connections, strengthened friendships and challenged themselves to grow as leaders. Whether gathered in a small group, working through an activity or simply sharing time together, each experience was a reminder that we accomplish more when we support and learn from one another.
Because strong chapters, strong teams and strong leaders aren’t built by one person. They’re built together. 💙💛

Leadership Tour is officially underway!

This week, the 2026–2027 Oregon FFA State Officer Team kicked off Leadership Tour with a visit to Hermiston FFA!

Over the next several months, our state officers will travel across Oregon visiting chapters, connecting with members, facilitating workshops, and creating opportunities for students to grow as leaders.

Leadership Tour is one of the best parts of the state officer year—meeting members where they are, hearing their stories, and reminding them that leadership isn't just about a title. It's about how we show up, serve others, and make an impact every day.

Thank you, **Hermiston FFA**, for being the first stop of the 2026–2027 Leadership Tour and for giving our officers such a great start!

What keeps you grounded as a leader?
At Northwest District Leadership Camp, members explored that question through their theme, Anchored in Leadership. Throughout camp, members built relationships, challenged themselves, discovered more about who they are and practiced the skills that will help them lead back home.
Being anchored doesn’t mean standing still. It means knowing the values, people and purpose that keep you grounded while giving you the confidence to step forward, take on challenges and serve others.
From workshops and team activities to conversations and plenty of laughter, Northwest District members spent camp strengthening the foundation they will continue building on throughout the year.
Thank you to the Northwest District officers, advisors, members and everyone who made camp possible. We are excited to watch these members take what they learned back to their chapters and continue to stay Anchored in Leadership. 💙💛

Every great team is made stronger by the different talents, personalities and strengths each person brings to it—and the South Western Oregon District proved exactly that at leadership camp.

With **Agvengers** as their theme, members came together to build leadership skills, strengthen relationships, take on challenges and discover how much more can be accomplished when everyone contributes their own unique strengths.

There may not have been capes involved, but there was plenty of teamwork, courage, problem-solving, laughter and leadership. Leadership isn’t about having every superpower yourself. It is about recognizing the strengths in those around you, stepping up when your team needs you and working together toward something bigger.

September camp season officially began with the Umpqua District, and they kicked things off with a theme centered on growth: **Blooming Beyond Boundaries.**

Leadership often begins when we are willing to stretch beyond what feels familiar—to meet someone new, try something different, speak up, take a risk and discover what we are capable of.

Throughout camp, Umpqua District FFA members spent time learning together, building relationships, strengthening their leadership skills and challenging themselves to grow beyond the boundaries they may have placed around themselves.

Just like anything that grows, leadership takes time, encouragement and a willingness to keep reaching toward what comes next.

Thank you to the Umpqua District officers, advisors, members and everyone who helped start our September leadership camp season with such a meaningful experience. We can’t wait to see where this growth takes you! 💙💛

Leadership doesn’t happen all at once—it is built one experience, one challenge, one conversation and one relationship at a time.

This summer, members from across the South Eastern Oregon District came together for leadership camp with the theme **Building Leaders**. Throughout camp, members stepped outside their comfort zones, worked alongside one another, strengthened friendships and developed skills they can take back to their chapters, schools and communities.

Every activity was another opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, communication and the courage to lead.

Thank you to the district officers, advisors, members and everyone who helped create an experience where young people could learn, grow and continue becoming the leaders they are capable of being. The work of building leaders continues long after camp ends.💙💛
