Auditions for Oregon State University Theatre’s fall 2026 production of Let the Right One In will be held September 28 and 29th at 6:00 pm in GVGC 106 on the OSU Corvallis campus (1701 SW Jefferson Way).
Let the Right One In tells the story of Oskar, a lonely teen, who finds a friend and kindred spirit when he meets Eli, a mysterious girl next door. As the two become closer, Eli can no longer hide her secret in this mysterious and enchanting vampire myth and coming-of-age story. The production is set in 1980, here but colder. This is a story about outcasts, bullying, and about how generations cannot communicate. It is a story about light and shadow. It is a story about blood. It is a story about the unexpected. There are also vampires.
Auditions are open to all and will consist of cold readings from the script. This play contains violence, blood, implied nudity, and adult language. Auditioners are strongly encouraged to read the script beforehand be honest about your own comfort level with intimacy, combat, implied nudity when filling out the audition form. The show will feature between 10 and 16 actors, some roles may be doubled. Actors will be cast based on fit for the role.
