General information
On August 1st 2010, State University of New York at Cortland admitted Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Cortland Colony. With the help of four diverse and energetic students, (Jose Valdez, Omar Vivas, Gustavo Santiago and Jonathan Rodriguez) Cortland saw a new face to multicultural greek life. These four young men and students overcame obstacles which would later establish the colony officially on November 11, 2010. Since then, the primary goal and philanthropy of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has been upheld through programming as well as events.
