Now that courses are underway, this is a friendly reminder to registered students seeking to drop or withdraw from courses. The deadlines approach quickly! For Term A courses, Thursday, May 21 (TODAY!) is the last day to drop a course! Students can drop via myRedDragon through 11:59 p.m. For Session I and 10-week terms courses, the drop deadline is May 26. Additional information for withdrawals and refunds is available online. Registered students should also check their Cortland e-mail for information.

Welcome to Summer Session! Looking to get ahead or try something new? Registration remains open for courses that begin TODAY in the 10-week term, Session I and Term A via myRedDragon. Students must confirm their attendance and pay their bill prior to the course beginning.
Registration is still open via myRedDragon for courses that begin in June (Term B, Session II and Term C) and July (Term D). Additional reminders will be provided as deadlines approach.
Registered students should continue to check their Cortland e-mail accounts and social media for regular updates from the Extended Learning Office through the summer.

It might be snowy and cold, but we look forward to the sunshine and warmth. With that said, the preliminary course listing is now available for Summer Session 2026! We would like to thank the students who enrolled in coursework, the faculty who taught, and the many offices and staff that supported students throughout Winter Session.
For students who recently completed coursework, we appreciate your time and commitment. Enrolling in Winter Session courses is not an easy task given the condensed terms, holidays, work, family obligations and other factors. We hope you had a successful experience. Be sure to check out the services available through Career Services and the Registrar’s Office for any needs related to career preparations and transcripts.
