Congratulations to our fibers graduate, Jacqueline Brown! She is heading to Syracuse University this fall to pursue a Master of Science in Art Therapy. Fibers I - Surface Design appliqué and hand embroidery project - what is your cause? - interpretations. Students created work about light pollution, conservation, lost connections, and media changes in photography amongst others displaying their viewpoints on issues that matter to them. Stay tuned for final projects as the semester winds down! Shout out to our teaching assistant for her always thoughtful critique.

Adventures in woven Shibori! Kathy and Jaqueline dyed and unfurled their woven Shibori resist dyes yesterday. Woven in 5/2 mercerized cotton - they turned out beautifully!
