Cool School ♪♫☮ Gary Driscoll, Mickey Lee Soule, Ronnie James Dio, and Doug Thaler ☮♪♫ This is my homage to all of the above, amazing people. It is literally magic.

If you were part of "Cool School," it means that you were part of an inner circle of friends, with the members of, "The Elves or Elf." Gary Driscoll, Mickey Lee Soule, Ronnie James Dio, and Doug Thaler, were and are, "The Coolest, of All Cool Guys!" Alumni include, David Salce, Willie Fyffe, Colin Hart, Joe Whiting, Lou Kaplan, and Victoria Calandra. This is in no way disrespect to David Rock Feinstein. He was just a very private person, and chose a very different life. He built a log cabin, and was very happy to be home with his family. Sadly, Gary Driscoll, and Ronnie James Dio have passed, but were the original "Cool School," professors. They still hold the title of, THE OG "Cool Guys." I met them when I was 15, and they changed my life. I am still close friends with Mickey Lee Soule, and Doug Thaler, as well as other alumni, David Salce and Willie Fyffe. David Salce, who owns Gary Driscoll's cherished, Ludwigs, has some very personal memories of his own. He plays drums so much like Gary Driscoll, mixed with his own flavor. There were, and are a lot of you out there, who lived in those days, and have so many memories of times. Places like, "The Bank," "Dominos," "The Third Rail," and many more places and faces that were involved. Please feel free to share your memories on this site. I would also like to add new people to this page. It is for everyone that would like to know more about these people, or have just discovered the music of The Elves and Elf. Feel free to add pictures, or your thoughts. As Gary Driscoll used to say, "Pass It On!"
