This spring, the 8th-grade science team was awarded the CPEF grant and has started to use the meteorological instruments to collect weather data and forecast upcoming weather events. GREAT JOB TIGERS!

The Cortland Public Education Fund (CPEF) is an independent, community based, nonprofit organization working with its partners at the Cortland City School District to enrich and broaden the educational experience for our young people.

We accomplish that by raising and allocating funds for sustainable educational opportunities that extend above what can be financed through the district's operating budget. In so doing, we tap into the energy, talents and vision of our district's educators, administrators, and staff, empowering them to bring new thoughts and ideas to their students.

CPE-funded grants have produced outstanding results over the years by enhancing educational experiences of our students.
