It’s still under construction, but it’s almost ready! How wonderful seeing the hard work of planning and decision making by our determined students and dedicated parents, staff members, and community members come into fruition! Just a few more weeks until it will be finished! Thank you to the Colorado Health Foundation for fully funding this project, and please watch for updates about our grand opening to be announced soon! We are thrilled to offer our community a few more New Student seat openings! Our next lottery drawing is Thursday morning, 8/20/26. We have at least one vacancy in each grade grouping. We also hope you enjoy the pictures of our current students who were able to discuss our playground installation with the on-site engineer this week, and a glimpse of them already settling into their academic routines! Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us as we wrapped up our first week with a welcoming "Moving-in" Bridge for our Kindergarten students to walk under on their way to their first Kiva Assembly this morning! We ended the day with a rainbow of gravel, but it was beautiful to us! This means that we are getting closer to the completion of the playground installation! Whoo-hoo! We are hoping to have the Grand Opening in 2 to 3 weeks and will keep you posted!

What a fantastic first day! Thank you parents, students, and staff members for making it enjoyable and helping everything go so smoothly! My favorite quote from today was "How does everyone know my name?" 😍 We do our best to help every child feel seen and valued, and I love it when they notice! 🥰 Great work Kiva Team!👏

I also have great news for families who have applied or are going to apply. 📣 It looks like we've had a student move out of our area, another who decided not to move into our area, and one who decided to try homeschooling. So, we do have a few more openings!

We will start having more lottery drawings for those seats as soon as possible! If you are interested in applying for a seat, please fill out the application linked below as soon as you can! Hi Kiva Families,

I am so excited for our first day of school, and our staff has been working hard to prepare our building for your arrival Monday, 8/10/26! I apologize that the playground installation was delayed, but they should have it completed in the next few weeks!
