Apparently, we caused a small commotion.

A few days ago, someone posted this photo on Nextdoor with the caption:
“Driving home last night, Corte Madera or the Serengeti?”

There were theories.
Safari West.
West with Giraffes.
A mysterious local wildlife preserve.
And, naturally, an AI billionaire building a new Neverland Ranch.

The considerably less exciting explanation:
It was just Mae driving home from piano lessons.
Yes, the giraffe rides in the Land Rover.
No, he wasn't going anywhere.
He just likes to come along.
Our program, Safari Keys, is entirely about music. With a delightfully immersive theme.
We may, however, have a slightly unusual commute. 🦒🎹

Happy New Year everyone! Piano classes are starting back up this week and we are beginning to prepare for our spring Rock On concert! Here are some awesome pictures from our past recital, the beautiful Holiday concert in December. Great job everyone!

Our students love learning music concepts while playing a game at every piano lesson! Here’s a few of our students that won our exciting Dynamic Den game, where they learn about dynamics (the volume levels in music and their names). By winning, students protected their pride which is referencing the lions in the game! 🦁🦁

Look who graduated to Level 1! We are so proud of Finn, not only as a piano student, but also as a kind, cheerful, motivated individual who brightens our world whenever he’s nearby. Here he is with his proud mom at his Safari Party after playing his 3 memorized, favorite pieces in front of an audience to celebrate passing his book!
