Unlocking the Voice of Older Texans: The Impact of the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature September 3, 2025 @ noon

Did you know that for over four decades, a dedicated group of citizens has been advocating for the needs of older Texans, shaping policies that improve lives and amplify the voices of seniors?

Join us for an eye-opening presentation with Corsicana residents Linda and David Timmerman, who will introduce us to the remarkable work of the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature(TSHL).

This event provides a unique opportunity to see how TSHL serves as a nonpartisan, focused voice in the Texas Legislature, advocating for meaningful change on behalf of older adults. Led by Chair Netta Blanchard and the Policy Committee, this organization demonstrates how committed individuals can make a lasting difference.
