Collins Catholic School is located on 23 beautiful acres in Corsicana, Texas. We are a Pre-K through eighth grade school with a strong Christian and academic emphasis. Collins Catholic School is a TCCED accredited private school. Thanks to an endowment by James L. Collins, Collins Catholic School was established in 1955. The endowment continues to support school operations and allows low tuition rates so as many area children as possible may reap the many benefits the school has to offer.

Students in Mrs. Arnold’s class are diving into their class novels and discovering the joy of getting lost in a good book! As they read, students are building vocabulary, strengthening comprehension skills, discussing characters and themes, and learning to think more deeply about what they read.

Our Blue Knights Boys' Club kicked off their first meeting of the school year, and we’re excited for another year of growing in faith, friendship, and virtue!

We are especially grateful for our new advisors who have stepped up to lead and mentor these young men. Your willingness to share your time, faith, and example is such a blessing to our school community.

For their first meeting, the Blue Knights focused on the virtue of FAITH—learning what it means to trust in God, grow in our relationship with Him, and live out our faith each day.

Please keep our Blue Knights and their advisors in your prayers throughout the year as these young men continue to grow closer to Christ and strive to live out the virtues they learn.

We love seeing Mrs. Bonilla cooking up delicious meals in our cafeteria! Our students absolutely love her cooking, and mealtimes are about so much more than just the food—they’re a time for our students to sit together, enjoy one another’s company, and share in fellowship.

We are so grateful for Mrs. Bonilla and the love she pours into our students through every meal she prepares! We are also grateful for all of the volunteers who help prepare and serve meals.

It was such a joy to have these sweet girls back together for another year of our Little Flowers Girls’ Club! We are so excited to watch them grow in faith, friendship, and virtue throughout the year.

We are incredibly grateful for the parents and grandparents who step up to help lead, mentor, and support this special ministry. Your time and dedication make it possible for these girls to learn about the beauty of our faith in such a meaningful way.

Throughout the year, the girls will learn about different virtues, grow in their relationship with Christ, and work toward earning patches as they put these virtues into practice in their daily lives.

Please keep our Little Flowers and their leaders in your prayers—that God will guide them, strengthen them, and help each of these young ladies continue to grow closer to Christ and become beautiful examples of faith and virtue.

This past weekend, our JLCCS students had the opportunity to speak at all Masses at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and share why the GAP Campaign is so important to our school and our students.

Our cheerleaders had their first practice of the school year, and they are ready to bring the spirit!

These girls have been working hard, learning cheers, practicing their moves, and getting ready to cheer on our Bears at upcoming volleyball games!

Our students were out yesterday and this morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church passing out envelopes and collecting donations for our annual GAP Campaign! We are so grateful for these young ambassadors who are helping support the school they are proud to call home.

Today, at the 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM Masses, James L. Collins Catholic School will also be providing hospitality. Please stop by, enjoy some fellowship, a donut, and say hello!

For over 70 years, our parish school has been blessed to educate and serve the children and families of our community. We are incredibly thankful for the continued support of our parish family and everyone who helps make our school’s mission possible.
