Hey there! I’ve been absent for a while here and as some of you know, for a good reason. I started training in early October and currently am a First Officer at a regional airline. I am looking to stay more active in the general aviation side in the near future, so stay tuned! Congratulations to Cody Gantt on passing his instrument rating! A lot of pilots settle with a private pilot certificate, but not Cody! He wanted to become a more competent, safe pilot, and it’s great to see his hard-work pay off. Instrument rating is the hardest rating to get in aviation by far. The amount of information that is required to know, and the skills required to fly in not so ideal weather conditions, is substantial, and this is just the beginning of it.

Meet Aaron. A dual rated, commercial helicopter pilot, and airplane. A successful business owner in the water and well business. Most importantly, a great guy! Whether we have a good flight or not, one thing is for sure, we always have a good time! My favorite thing as a flight instructor, by far, is all the people I’ve met that will be my lifelong friends, from all different kind of backgrounds! One trait that I have noticed among the most successful people, is that no matter how busy they are, or what’s going on in their life, they’re positive and they are excellent problem solvers. IMC with Cody, who’s working on his private pilot certificate requirements! He’ll be a private pilot in 3 weeks, and we’ll continue straight on with his instrument rating! Fun day for IMC! He also shot a perfect approach to minimums in IMC conditions! Way to go Cody 👏
