Time goes so fast, at times it seem to be a runaway. Its been an absolute pleasure to get to work with this dude. He has grown and matured into a great player, more importantly he is an ambassador. He is just getting started.........

It has been an absolute pleasure working with this young man. I have seen him grow in the game but more importantly he has grown in himself. The grace that he has developed, the respect for the game, and the belief in himself. Its hard to believe 3 years went so fast. I'm just glad we got to be a part of the journey and look forward to what is to come.

Day 1 — Pitchers Are Not Yard Crew

Coaches at every level need to do better.

From Little League to MLB, pitchers are the center of your ability to win baseball games. Yet too often, they are treated like extra bodies instead of high-value arms.

They run poles.
They s**g BP.
They drag screens.
They chase balls.
They do field work.
They stand around for an hour and then someone says, “Go get loose.”

That is backwards.

A pitcher is not a landscaper of the baseball yard.

He is not just another jersey in practice.

He is the engine of the game.

At every level, the arm has to be developed, protected, challenged, and prepared with purpose.

Little League arms need structure.
High school arms need education.
JUCO arms need workload management.
College arms need role-specific training.
Pro arms need precision, recovery, and durability.

If your pitchers spend more time doing busy work than developing their craft, your program has a problem.

Winning starts on the mound.

Start treating the mound like it matters.
