Officer Jay Williams Visits Principles of Law!

Officer Jay Williams with the Corsicana Police Department spent the day with Mrs. Harrelson’s Principles of Law students at CMS!

Officer Williams shared what it’s really like to be a police officer, discussed the requirements to become a law enforcement officer in the State of Texas, and emphasized the importance of making good choices.

Our students had the opportunity to hear firsthand about a career in law enforcement and the responsibility that comes with wearing the badge.

Happy IT Day to the one and only Mr. Joe!

Around CMS, Mr. Joe lives by the phrase "See a need, fill a need!”...and there’s really no telling what that need might be!
Technology acting up? Mr. Joe to the rescue! Someone across campus needs IT help? He’ll hop on his skateboard and roll their way. A random critter decides to visit CMS? Apparently that falls under IT too. Mr. Joe has it handled! And then there are the shirts! Mr. Joe has his own wardrobe traditions, and we love seeing what shirt the day calls for!

Whether he’s fixing our technology, cruising across campus, catching an unexpected visitor, or sporting the perfect shirt for the day, Mr. Joe is always ready to see a need and fill a need!

Happy IT Day to our problem-solving, skateboard-riding, critter-catching, always ready for a challenge Mr. Joe! CMS wouldn’t be the same without you! Thank you for ALL the ways you keep us up and running...and laughing!

Calling all young athletes! A Track & Field Clinic is coming up for 5th–8th grade girls and boys, featuring the opportunity to learn from professional track & field athletes!

The clinic will focus on sprint mechanics and relay skills, giving young athletes a chance to learn, grow, and gain valuable experience on the track.

We are so grateful for our CMS Hope Squad students and the positive influence they are making during Su***de Prevention Week! They spent their lunches yesterday and were back at it again this morning, spreading kindness, encouragement, and positivity throughout CMS.

CMS families, please be aware that the gate near the Fieldhouse will be closed tomorrow morning, Friday, September 11, due to the high school cross country meet.

Students will NOT be able to be dropped off using this route Friday morning. All morning drop-offs will need to use the campus entrance or the home/Northside stadium entrance off FM 744.

This closure is for Friday morning only. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
