📢 Dress code update!
The Corsicana ISD Board of Trustees approved new dress code changes taking effect for the 2026-27 school year.

Here's what's new:
👖 Jeans in ANY color are now allowed (rips/holes only permitted below the knee).
🩳 Athletic wear in solid colors (khaki, gray, navy, black, or various shades of denim), including shorts, sweatpants & joggers, is permitted. Shorts must be no more than 2" above the knee.
👕Plain shirts in ANY color are now allowed with or without collars. T-shirt graphics will be limited to CISD spirit shirts, collegiate, university, or United States military designs.

The goal? More flexibility for students while keeping a positive, safe learning environment. 🎒

📢 ¡Actualización del código de vestimenta!
La Junta Directiva de Corsicana ISD aprobó cambios en el código de vestimenta que entrarán en vigor para el año escolar 2026-27.

Aquí están las novedades:
👖 Ahora se permiten pantalones de mezclilla (jeans) de CUALQUIER color (las roturas o agujeros solo se permiten por debajo de la rodilla).
🩳 Se permite ropa deportiva de colores sólidos (caqui, gris, azul marino, negro o varios tonos de mezclilla), incluyendo pantalones cortos, de deporte y pantalones tipo jogger. Los pantalones cortos no deben quedar a más de 2 pulgadas por encima de la rodilla.
👕 Ahora se permiten camisetas camisetas sin estampados de CUALQUIER color, con o sin cuello. Los diseños gráficos en las camisetas se limitarán a camisetas con el espíritu escolar de CISD, o diseños universitarios o de las fuerzas armadas de los Estados Unidos.

¿El objetivo? Mayor flexibilidad para los estudiantes manteniendo un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo y seguro. 🎒
